Baby Blue in the wild

At 4 years old, my boy; 'Katty-Wumpus' finally gets a brief venture in the great outdoors! This was taken with my T2i in our backyard in Oct 2010. A beautiful fall day, and I was taking shots of leaves, bugs and mushrooms, Wumpy took advantage of the open door. He was slow to step beyond the threshold, but once he felt the crunch of dried leaves beneath his paws, he quickly developed some bravery. Curious of everything he seemed to be in big hurry to explore. Perhaps he knew I would cut his 'field trip' short! He looked so beautiful in the sun, so I clicked away!
